Protecting Atlanta Metro Homebuyers From the Unexpected, Damaged and Costly
Even if the property looks great on the outside, it could be hiding a number of defects underneath. While invisible to the untrained eye, it's not to an experienced and licensed home inspector like Eddie Friendly.
Hiring an inexperienced home inspector could cost you a small fortune in overlooked findings; don't risk it on this large home purchase. My team will conduct a thorough visual Home Inspection while providing you with the most detailed reports, color photos of our findings, and summary outlines–all delivered within 24-hours of the inspection.
We Inspect it All
Buying a home is a significant investment, and inspecting the physical condition of the home’s systems and components will aid you in making an informed decision about the property while also minimizing financial risks.
We'll inspect ...
ROOF - Our inspections include a visual inspection of the roof. Finding issues like cracked shingles, damaged/missing flashing, and nail pops is a priority. When you know the 'remaining life expectancy of the roof', you can make an informed decision. Let us help you with that!
STRUCTURAL - This includes all visible and accessible parts of the home's structure inside and out. This also includes the attic, crawlspace, and interior/exterior walls, floors, and ceilings.
HVAC - These types of repairs can be extremely expensive. Knowing the state of the home's heating and cooling sytems before buying the property puts you at an advantage to negotiate repairs or the price of the home. We provide a full visual inspection of all visible components so you can make an informed decision.
ELECTRICAL - Safety protocols change year after year; and while many homes will retain their original electrical setup, it could be outdated and a risk to you. We inspect and report on it to keep you safe.
PLUMBING - We inspect all visible piping, checking for leaks, corrosion, and dezincification, which can lead to leaking and major damage to your property.
FOUNDATION - We check it all. We'll provide a thorough visual inspection of the foundation and areas around it that could put the integrity of the foundation at risk. It's all highlighted and reported in our summary findings.
AND EVERYTHING IN-BETWEEN - The major parts to be examined are the roof, exterior, basement/crawlspace, foundation and structure, heating and cooling, plumbing, electrical, fireplace, attic, insulation and ventilation, doors, windows, and interior part of the resident.
